New Pope has been selected announcement expected soon

The Catholic Cardinals have selected a replacement for Pope Benedict who resigned unexpectedly last month

Within the last hour white smoke was seen Sistine Chapel, indicating the Catholic Cardinals have selected a new pope to lead the church. Reports indicate the new pope will appear on the balcony of St. Peter’s Basillica.

USA Today is reporting:

“The 115 voting cardinals took four or five votes over two days to reach their decision, which required a two-thirds majority and came after a week of intense meetings. The cardinal conclave came on the heels of the surprising resignation of Pope Benedict XVI last month.”
