After 17 Years in prison, Judge overturns sentence of wrongly convicted man

A New Jersey man is set to walk free after spending 17 years in prison.

Gerard Richardson was convicted of mµrdering a 19 year old drug dealer in 1996 and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Thanks to assistance from the Innocence Project, a Superior Court judge has overturned Richardson’s conviction and set bail at $5,000.
