Fort Worth, Texas – November 7, 2013 – Rustic Crossroads in Cresson, Texas invites you to an open house featuring Turtle The Painting Pit Bull and her famous artwork. The event is from 6-9 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Rustic Crossroads (9516 E Highway 377, Cresson, TX 76035) and is free to attend. Turtle the Painting Pit Bull t-shirts and original art by Turtle will be available for purchase.

The event aims to bring awareness to Turtle’s heartwarming story and the artwork will help fund Turtle’s anti-bullying program, “Bullying From a Pit Bull’s Perspective,” and Respect A Bull, Inc. “Our mission is to educate children on bullying and animal abuse using Turtle’s story,” states Turtle’s owner, Kristie Miller. “Pit bulls have an amazing ability to overcome their hardships. Oftentimes people think that adult pit bulls with an unknown past are too dangerous to adopt, but Turtle was two years old when I rescued her. You would never know she was used for dog fighting. She is a loving, happy member of the family.”
