Next steps in helping veterans and military spouses seeking jobs

hoh_web_bannerThe U.S Chamber launched “Next Steps for Vets,” an online portal to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses identify education and employment opportunities. The site is available at veterans.nbcnews.com.

The site features many Hiring Our Heroes resources as well as best-in-class tools from other leading industry partners. Resources include a resume building tool; a G.I. bill calculator; a job finder tool; a 12-step guide to start a small business; an eMentor program; and a map of all the upcoming Hiring Our Heroes job fairs.

The site will be part of NBCNews.com, which is the 3rd-most visited English speaking news site in the world. This is a tremendous opportunity to get many of the best free online resources available to the men and women of our armed forces in one destination.
