The Frisco Police Department is investigating the death of a 10-year-old child at his residence.
The incident occurred in the 15000 block of Mountain View Lane. Police were called to the home at about 6:32 p.m. on Wednesday for a welfare concern. Officers made contact with the child’s parents and subsequently discovered the deceased child in the house.
The child’s mother, 38-year-old Pallavi Dhawan, was taken into custody at the scene in connection with the child’s death. She was transported to the Frisco Police Department for further investigation.
No formal charges have been filed at this time. The circumstances of how the child died are under investigation.
