Another day, another pro athlete arrested for domestic violence

Keyshawn Johnson twitterFormer NFL star wide receiver and current ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson was arrested early Monday morning for misdemeanor domestic battery.   

TMZ.com reported the news, indicating that Johnson made $20,000 bail and is no longer in custody following his arrest in Calabasas, Calif. The report provided more details as to what transpired between Johnson and his ex-girlfriend, citing law enforcement and sources with knowledge of the situation:

“According to law enforcement … Keyshawn was involved in a fight with his ex-girlfriend when things allegedly got physical.  Sources say he smashed her phone, causing a gash to her hand.  Our sources say the two had an up-and-down relationship and were arguing over marriage.”
