Detroit’s financial crisis leads to unclaimed bodies buried in unmarked mass graves

Detroit is in the midst of a fiscal crisis but that is not the only problem the city has faced in recent years.

The Wayne County morgue has for years stored hundreds of unclaimed bodies in its freezers. Now the city has begun the process of burying those unclaimed bodies in mass graves.
