State Fair Opening Day on September. 26: Take a full 20-ounce Dasani water or any Coke product and get admission for $6 per donated item. Proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank.
Kroger: You can purchase advance general admission/season passes at the service desk. Price: Adult gen. admission $15.50, season passes $34.95 (includes one-day companion ticket good Monday-Friday)
Dr. Pepper Tuesday: Recycle your Dr Pepper cans at the gates for $5 admission.
Can Food Wednesday: Donate 3 canned food items for $3 admission.
Silver Thursday: Senior Citizens (ages 60+) free
It Takes Two Thursday: Recycle two empty 20-ounce bottle of any Coca-Cola product to admission gates and get in for only $6.
Kiss-FM Friday: Go to the KISS-FM website for a coupon for $12 adult general admission only. You must print the coupon and remit at State Fair of Texas admission gate.
After 5pm: After 5 pm an empty Dr Pepper will get you in on any day for $8.
McDonald’s Hook-Up: You can find State Fair coupons on your tray liner or in your bag from the drive-thru for $3 off adult general admission. There will also be a separate coupon for a $6 child ticket with purchase of adult general admission. Discounts may not be combined with any other offer.
Go, Go, Groups: Groups of 20 or more receive discounted general admission. Groups with 20-99 receive a 20 percent discount; 100-249 receive a 30 percent discount; and, 250-plus receive a 35 percent discount. Don’t Park DART: Save the $15 parking fee. Valid for unlimited rides on date of purchase, through 3 a.m. the following day, local transit fare is $5 for adults (ages 15-64) and $2.50 for children/seniors (ages 5-14 or 65+). THEY HAVE AN APP FOR THAT – You can also purchase State Fair admission via the DART GoPass app – downloadable here. Tickets for multiple individuals may be purchased on one smartphone. Upon arrival at Fair Park, swipe to activate tickets and present them for scanning at admission gates.
