Irving drivers should avoid Northbound Loop 12 during bridge repairs tonight

IRVING – Weather permitting, all lanes of northbound Loop 12 from Union Bower to SH 114 will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 through 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.

Next week, all northbound lanes of Loop 12 will be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 through Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015.

Detours will be marked.

At this time, the bridge has a temporary clearance height of 14 feet 1 inch.

Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
