$7.5m scratch-off Texas Lottery winner in Lufkin claims his prize

lottery ticket(AUSTIN) – Trevathan Adams of Lufkin claimed a $7.5 million top prize in the Texas Lottery scratch-off, Millionaires Club. For selling the winning ticket, the H-E-B Food Store #617 in Lufkin is eligible for a retailer bonus of $10,000.

With more than $137 million in total prizes, the Millionaires Club features overall odds of one in 2.51, including break-even prizes. Adams claimed the second of three top prizes in the game. In addition to the one remaining top prize, 52 second-tier prizes of $10,000 each currently remain unclaimed.

The claimant requested minimal publicity.
