Frisco drivers warned of traffic pattern changed on Main Street

traffic alertOn Tuesday, Feb. 10, traffic patterns will be modified at the intersection of Independence Parkway and Main Street as part of TxDOT’s widening project.  Traffic on Independence Parkway will be switched so that north and southbound traffic will share the west half of the road at the intersection with Main Street.

Northbound and southbound motorists should pay special attention to the new temporary transitions from one side of the median to the other.  All motorists should pay special attention to the new location of stop lines and turn lanes at the intersection and are urged to use caution in the construction zone as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns.
