March Against Domestic Violence

marchagainstDVThe Antioch Fellowship Church hosted a March Against Domestic Violence on Saturday, March 28, 2015.  According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, it [Domestic Violence] is defined as the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior perpetrated by an intimate partner against another, which may result in death. It is an epidemic affecting individuals regardless of their economic status.

Violence against women, the elderly or children is often accompanied by emotionally abusive and controlling behavior, and thus is part of a systematic pattern of dominance and control. As a ministry, we are seeking to bring awareness to this issue, as well as to offer help to those who are victims and perpetrators.  For additional information on making donations visit afmbc.org.
