It’s almost time to gear up for one of the biggest events of the summer: Council-Wide Bridging! This exciting event allows girls within the council to come together, grow in their Girl Scout experience, and share these special moments with their friends and family.

The Bridging Ceremony and Girl Scout Zone, presented by Time Warner Cable, is held in conjunction with the Trinity River Wind Festival and gives girls of all ages the opportunity to celebrate the beginning of their newest Girl Scout adventure with all of their northeast Girl Scout sisters! Girls who attend will:

•  Join their Northeast Texas sisters to celebrate everything we love about Girl Scouting!

•  Discover Healthy Living by learning about their inner artist and navigating a fun obstacle course!

•  Seek challenges outdoors by practicing rodeo skills and meeting animal friends!

•  Explore STEM by exploring car parts and even building a rocket to test!

Participating in the Girl Scout Zone is FREE of charge!

Bridging Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Girl Scout Zone: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Note: There are several parking lots available near the Commerce Street Bridge. These paid lots are located near the Commerce Street and Riverfront intersection. Please plan to bring $6 in cash for a full day of parking. Although we are confident there will be enough parking, please note that these lots are open to the public. Carpooling is encouraged.
