Denise Lee Brings Her Iconic Stage Show to Fair Park

TOO OLDAward-winning actress and vocalist Denise Lee performs her one-woman show “Too Old! Too Fat! Too Black! Songs I’ll Never Sing on Broadway” as part of Fair Park’s monthly New York-style cabaret entertainment.

This iconic show is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28 at the Women’s Museum at Fair Park, 3600 Parry Ave. in Dallas. Free admission and free parking at Fair Park Gate 3.

“Cabaret is an art form like no other. It allows you to interact with your audience like you would never be able to in traditional theater,” says Lee. “Your audience, in a sense, becomes a part of the show because I feed off their energy.”

Lee’s powerful voice, warm and friendly demeanor, and her sassy and sensual performance style have charmed theater, nightclub and television audiences for more than two decades.

This month’s show closes out Fair Park’s cabaret music series, which is presented by Denise Lee Onstage, Lee’s creative company. New shows will begin in the fall. Visit www.fairpark.org for information.

Denise Lee is an award-winning actress, singer and down-to-earth diva! Her powerful voice, warm and friendly demeanor, and her sassy and sensual performance style has charmed theater, nightclub and television audiences for more than two decades.

Lee is based in Dallas but the world is her home.
