McKinney names Brian Lockley Interim Planning Director

Brian Lockley, McKinney Interim Planning Director

Brian Lockley has been appointed to Interim Planning Director in McKinney, replacing newly named Executive Director of Development Services Michael Quint. Lockley began work with the city on July 28.

Lockley has 18 years of experience in public sector planning and has worked with a number of municipal and county agencies including the City of Denton, Texas, the City and County of Denver, Colo., and the City of Commerce City, Colo. Lockley is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners, is a member of the American Planning Association, and is a Certified Public Manager.

Lockley will work as Interim Planning Director while the City of McKinney conducts a nationwide search for a permanent Planning Director.
