Dallas Theater Center and Dallas Faces Race will co-host a curated conversation with Civil Rights Leaders from Dallas for “The View from the Mountaintop” on Nov. 9 at the Beckley Saner Recreation Center. In a moderated panel discussion led by Nakia Douglas, Principal at Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy, Dallas community members and leaders will engage in dialogue about our legacy – past, present, and future.
A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with food donated by Babe’s Chicken Dinner House. The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
