City of Irving pilots Aquatics program for special needs youth in 2016

In response to growing community interest and need, the Aquatics Division of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department will expand its programming to provide access for children with special needs to city swim facilities. City leaders see the new AquaStars program as a way to enhance the recreational opportunities of children in the community with special needs.

The AquaStars pilot sessions will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Heritage Aquatic Center, 200 S. Jefferson St. on the following dates:

  • Jan. 10
  • Feb. 14
  • March 13
  • April 10
  • May 15
