Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas donates $20,000 to #GarlandStrong

Residents in Garland are still trying to recover from the December tornadoes. The community and local governments continue to help the families, but in the spirit of good corporate citizenship, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas presented a donation this week to help.

Earlier this week at the recent Garland City Council meeting, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas’ presented their contribution of $20,000 to the #GarlandStrong campaign, providing assistance to families impacted by last December’s storms and tornadoes.

Victims of the storm were declared ineligible for assistance from FEMA. Individuals and companies that would like to donate, visit GarlandStrong.com, or write a check payable to Garland Tornado Relief Fund, mail to:
