App enhances visit to National Museum of African-American History

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Clearly Innovative (CI) this fall launched the official mobile App for the Smithsonian’s’ new National Museum of African-American History and Culture (NMAAHC).   The App contains features to provide information about the museum and help visitors and as users.

“We are proud, honored and excited to be working with Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture on a mobile solution for the museum,” said Clearly Innovative CEO and Founder Aaron Saunders “As an African American owner of a DC-based technology company I could not have dreamed of a more meaningful project to be a part of. #ApeoplesJourney,” he added.

The App can be found as NMAAHC in Google Play and Apple ITunes . It is available in English, French and Spanish.

As the official mobile vendors for the museum, Clearly Innovative  created a cross-platform mobile solution to enhance the museum experience.   While it does not duplicate the actual visitation experience it does provide information  about exhibits and  key features  of  the museum’s location and  its architecture.    CI  also designed the initial maps used for the museum opening.
