Ed Gray, the North Dallas Gazette’s Senior Columnist, is always on the go. Whether he is writing his bi-weekly column in the North Dallas Gazette, taping his next appearance on WFAA 8 with his monthly My Voice My Opinion commentary or live streaming his weekly radio show, The Commish Radio Show with Ed Gray, he is always a man on the move. His passion for the community is what keeps Gray meeting and discussion the latest events with newsmakers.
Gray’s recent NDG column looked back on the impact of the July 7, 2016 shootings in Dallas. Also, he outlined how the Dallas City Council meetings are going to be a new world for Mayor Mike Rawlings after three of his key allies were swept out of office in the spring elections. Their replacements include two candidates endorsed to return to the City Council by NDG: Tennell Adkins and Dwaine Caraway.
This month NDG’s Publisher, Thurman R. Jones, stopped by Gray’s radio station and handled his NDG promo on The Commish Radio Show in one take! Also behind the mike was Minister Dominque Alexander, the President & Founder at Next Generation Action Network). NDG also spoke with Alexander this week to get his thoughts on where Dallas community and police relations stand and where we can go next. Visit here to read this week’s cover story.
