Allen and Euless set to open a Disney store within Target, not Dallas in October

Disney and Target made a surprise announcement on Sunday of their new partnership. Twenty-five stores across the country will be the first to receive a Disney store within a local Target location. Two are on the initial list for DFW, but neither are actually in Dallas.

Later 40 more “shop-in-shop” locations will open throughout the country, but those locations have not been announced.

According to a rich digital experience website, the store in Allen at 150 East Stacy Road and the Euless location at 1401 W. Glade Rd. is where DFW shoppers will have to travel for the Disney experience at Target.

This is just the latest in big changes for one of the most well-known children’s brands for generations. The media giant has broken away from their relationship with Netflix to launch their own streaming service. Disney Plus promises to feature many of the favorite classics and popular shows when it debuts on Nov. 12 for $7 a month.

The House of Mickey is doing everything it can to stay relevant with old and new audiences.
