Time to get ready for Halloween in Dallas. The NDG Entertainment Calendar offers a few options for families to those who like their fun a bit more spooky.
It is Halloween week at the Dallas Arboretum. Your kids will love the spooky scavenger hunt, creepy creative corner, and many more child-friendly activities. This is a great way to have some spookily fun family time. The exhibits are open daily through the spookiest night of the year.
Looking for a bit of music during your jam-packed weekend? Then check out the Kpop Music Festival. Experience groups like chic angel, watch the dance and singing competition and meet popular Korean influencers at the free event. The festival is at the Music City Mall for two days, Oct. 26-27. Truck Yard is hosting a Halloween Bash fit for man and dog on Saturday, Oct. 26. The party will feature a Dog Costume Contest at 3 p.m. Fido just might bark and pose his way to a $150 first-place gift card for you. And if your puppy is not adorable enough to win, no worries. The Human Costume Contest starts at 9 p.m. and you could win a $250 first-place gift card. The Truck Yard is located at 5624 Sears St. in Dallas.
Celebrate Dias de Muertos Saturday, Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dallas City Hall Plaza. Guests are invited to watch fireworks, listen to live music and try new exciting foods. Organizers are hoping this becomes an opportunity to honor the dead, inviting the public to learn more about the rich cultural tradition of celebrating life, death, and love. This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Boho Market is opening. Shoppers are invited to support local businesses and grab some vintage items, if you are not into that, enjoy the live music and explore new food booths.
