The Dingdong Brings Parisian Mayhem and Laughter to the Stage This November

DALLAS — The stage is set for laughter this fall as The Dingdong (or Take Me, I’m Yours!), written by Mark Shanahan and directed by Penny Elaine, takes center stage November 6–22 at the Cox Playhouse in Plano (1517 H Avenue in Plano).

Adapted from Georges Feydeau’s French farce Le Dindon, this riotous comedy dives into one unforgettable night at a Parisian hotel.

Vatelin is a mostly faithful husband, and Lucy is a kind-of-faithful wife — until temptation, chaos, and mistaken identities send their world spinning.

Audiences can expect madcap antics, romantic misadventures, and hilarious revelations about love, fidelity, and the “secret” to a happy marriage.
