Equest Hosts Festive Holiday Open House in Dallas

Equest will welcome the community to a Holiday Open House on Dec. 6. The event runs from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. However, attendees will enjoy fun activities for the whole family. It takes place at Equest’s scenic location in the Great Trinity Forest. However, this urban forest is the largest in the nation.

Guests can meet Santa and take photos with Equest’s miniature horses. However, the Mini Ambassadors, Ranger and Dare, stand under 38 inches tall. Families can enjoy festive crafts and sweet treats during the celebration. However, they will also meet more than 30 therapy horses. These horses provide hope and healing to individuals with diverse needs.

The event highlights Equest’s mission of empowering lives through equine-assisted activities and therapies. However, families and friends can connect with the organization’s volunteers. Attendees will learn how equine programs support mental health and physical rehabilitation. However, the open house also offers interactive experiences for children.

Equest encourages the community to RSVP to attend the free Holiday Open House. However, registration helps organizers plan for guests and activities. Participants should arrive prepared to enjoy horses, crafts, and seasonal fun. However, parking is available on-site for families and friends.

In addition to meeting the Mini Ambassadors, guests can explore Equest’s larger therapy horses. However, volunteers will guide participants and answer questions about programs. The celebration offers hands-on learning and festive photo opportunities. However, children and adults alike can enjoy interacting safely with the animals.

Equest’s Holiday Open House provides a joyful way to celebrate the season and the organization’s work. However, the event reminds the community of the healing power of horses. Attendees can take part in crafts, treats, and horse encounters. However, families are encouraged to share the experience with friends and neighbors.
