The Godfather of Soul’s, or James Brown for youngsters, body supposedly went missing over the weekend from his mausoleum and the gossip websites went ablaze trying to be the first to report it. Well we waited and are happy to report, as of right now, that the reports are false. This information was confirmed by both the director, Charles Reid of C.A. Reid Funeral Home and the Aiken Sheriff Department.
C.A. Reid Funeral Home assisted with the burial of Brown’s body and released a statement that the body has not gone missing. The Aiken Sheriff Department released a statement that since they have jurisdiction over where the body was laid to rest, at Brown’s daughter home, they would be the first to know about the thief.
Even in death James Brown is still the hardest working man in show business.
