MillerCoors beer plus Puerto Rican Flag equals scandal

In celebration of the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Coors light beer will have the Puerto Rican flag displayed on their cans this year. Many Hispanic politicians and advocacy groups are calling the ad “disrespectful” and “insulting.”

The image of the flag appears wrapped around the bottom of the 20 ounce Coors Light can. At the bottom of the can an apple is colored in the red and blue colors of the Puerto Rican flag with a single star. A border around the apple image says National Puerto Rican Parade, Inc
