According to witnesses, police in Ferguson are shooting protesters with rubber bullets and tear gas again. It is another night of protest in Ferguson, Missouri following the death of an unarmed teenager Michael Brown on Saturday night.

Earlier reports indicate reporters Wesley Lowery Washington Post and Ryan Reilly of Huffington Post were arrested when they did not pack up their bags quickly enough when a SWAT team arrived.

Huffington Post reports:

“Washington Post editor Martin Baron said the paper was “relieved that Wesley is going to be OK” and “appalled by the conduct of police officers involved.” He continued, “That behavior was wholly unwarranted and an assault on the freedom of the press to cover the news.”

HuffPost’s Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim told Talking Points Memo, “This is what happens when local police are allowed to become para-military units.””

Here is video of exchange with police prior to arrest of reporter.
