In what is a very surprising development, President Barack Obama is expected to announce today that Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. is leaving once his successor is selected and confirmed by the Senate.
Holder was the 82nd attorney general, but the first African-American to ever serve in the position. It was previously announced he was leaving at the end of this year. No reason is known as to why the timeline has moved up.
His action and leadership in the Ferguson, Missouri situation was largely credited with finally helping to diffuse the tensions. Many have considered him the most liberal voice coming from the White House as of late.
Thank you Jesus!
