Seahawks have an edge over Patriots off the field in one area

image002 (1)Everyone thinks they have some magic formula to predict who will win the Super Bowl, from reading chicken bones to letting Teddy Bear the Porcupine tell us based on which of the two ears of corn he nibbles on first, each designated for the Seahawks and Patriots, respectively.

Strange? Perhaps. Accurate? Probably not. But here’s yet another idea to throw into the ring.

Could knowing which team pays their bills faster have anything to do with who will win the Big Game on Sunday? Unlikely, but interesting just the same.

Here’s an infographic from Creditsafe – the world’s most-used provider of online company credit reports – which shows how the Patriots and Seahawks stack up in terms of their payment performance. It shows the Seahawks have a winning edge over the Patriots, paying their bills nine days faster than last year and ahead of the Patriots. The Patriots, on the other hand, lost their solid payment track record from last year, now paying their bills 12 days past the due date.

You can also see from the infographic how the other NFL teams compare.
