Daylight Savings Time is a good time to replace smoke dectector battery

Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 13, so don’t forget to set your clocks ahead an hour.

The Richardson Fire Department also recommends replacing smoke detector batteries at this time as part of the “change your clock, change your battery” campaign.
