Carrollton murder-for-hire suspect now facing lawsuit for stolen money at his job

John Franklin Howard of Carrollton was accused of hiring people to kill his wife. Now, that is not the only legal trouble he is facing. There is a lawsuit filed against Howard for stealing money from his employer. Seems the money stolen was how Howard was able to pay the hitmen for the (attempted) murder. Howard was hired by Raley Holdings, LLC. of Grapevine as CFO in 2009; therein Howard handled all of the company’s financial matters.

“The lawsuit states Howard set up companies to siphon millions of dollars from Raley accounts in Kuwait into bank accounts in his name. When Howard posted $1 million bond on Monday, his wife signed an affidavit saying her husband owned several “shadow” companies and may be in control of more than $32 million. She asked that the court immediately freeze all of his accounts.

This lawsuit explains where that money would’ve come from.”
