Fans say goodbye to The Closer tonight

Fans of The Closer signing the 10-foot version of The Closer's “Thank-Yew” card at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel.

Before the series finale of TNT’s The Closer, fans of the blockbuster series have set a Guinness World Record™ for most contributions ever on a greeting card.

Since February, more than 17,000 of The Closer’s fans have signed a digital “Thank-Yew” greeting card expressing what the show has meant to them.  At a special Hollywood screening for some of The Closer’s biggest fans this week, TNT unveiled a 10-foot version of the “Thank-Yew” greeting card, reflecting the card’s record-breaking total of hand-written contributions, which now stands at 1,970.

The Closer’s series finale airs him tonight at 8 p.m., followed by the series premiere of Major Crimes. This new show will feature many of fan favorites from The Closer.
