Remington College Dallas Campus provides free back-to-school haircuts in August
The cost of getting kids ready to go back to school adds up quickly – school supplies, clothes, shoes, maybe a new backpack. That’s why Remington College is again offering free back to school haircuts through its Cuts for Kids promotion.
Throughout the month of August, all Remington College cosmetology programs are providing free haircuts to kids 17 years of age and under. More than 13,000 children have received free haircuts since the beginning of the Cuts for Kids program.
Here’s how to participate at Remington College Dallas Campus: Call The Salon at Remington at 972-698-3890 to schedule an appointment any time in August, but they are also accepting walk-ins. The hours are Tuesday – Friday9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. or Saturday9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 1640 Eastgate Dr. in Garland.
During Cuts for Kids, Remington College will also be collecting school supplies – pens, pencils, notebooks, etc. Anyone who brings in a donation can get a free haircut, manicure, or pedicure for themselves. All school supplies collected will go to local schools.
Haircuts will be provided by students and instructors in the Remington College’s Cosmetology Diploma program. The program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in The Salon at Remington, which allows students to work with real clients.
